There is a basketball court, completed in 2003, open for use by members of the public. The court is available on a turn up and play basis and cannot be hired.
We have exciting news that the old bowls green is being converted into a brand new Putting Green and will be open for use from the 'Grand Opening' which takes place on Saturday, 10th May.
The opening will include children's games and activities and will be combined with the completion of the resurfacing of the tennis courts and a car boot sale.
See our Events page for further information.
As from 9th September, 2006, the football pitch in Boston Manor Park will be used by the Spartans Youth Football Club on Wednesday
evenings during the light nights. The Club will hold training sessions on Saturdays between 9 and 12 noon and will be there again on
Sunday Mornings. Please see the Spartans Youth Football Club page for further information.
The pitches will still be available at all other times for casual use by visitors to the park.
There are three tennis courts which are open to the public, subject to prior booking, at fees of £4.20 adults, children and senior citizens £2.30, and concessions £3.00.
However, Boston Manor Park has a thriving, non profit making Tennis Club with extremely low annual membership fees, winter league, social events, and free club sessions.
Visit the Tennis Club Webpage
for detailed information about the club. There are also coaching sessions available (please click here for charges). If you are an experienced tennis player or
interested in learning, you can join this tennis community to participate in the sport at all levels.
Please contact the Tennis Club Chair, Emma Corrigan (usually at the Pavilion Cafe from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays), telephone the club number on 07913 791 923 or
email bostonmanortennis@yahoo.co.uk for further information
about the Tennis Club or to book a court as a non member. The Tennis Club is a non profit making voluntary club whose aim is to improve the tennis facilities for all within the park, to
encourage the enjoyment of playing tennis and to offer the community spirit of a tennis club.
