The Friends of Boston Manor held their first Summer Discovery Trail in August 2010. We hope you will join us in this fund-raising event for the Brentford Festival
and Boston Manor Park during 2011. The trail takes you on a trip through Boston Manor Park, on a circuit along the Grand
Union Canal, down to Brentford High Street and back to the Park. Our guide sheet will
provide you with a map of the route, information about local history, buildings, flora and fauna as well as providing a fun
tour of the local area. The Discovery Trail Guide Sheet can be purchased at a fee of £3.00 per person, but children under
16 years old will be free. An answer sheet will also be provided. Please contact FOBM for more information by emailing us here.
Visit www.brentfordfestival.org.uk for more information
about the Brentford Festival or email the Festival Organisers here.

Since our foundation, Friends of Boston Manor has worked closely with CIP to improve the activities and facilities within Boston Manor Park. We very much appreciate the help and support we
have received from CIP and bid them a fond farewell as the Hounslow contract for parks passes to another contractor, Continental Landscapes, as from 2nd July, 2008. We look forward to developing a strong working relationship now with
Continental Landscapes in order to continue improving standards within Boston Manor Park.
The Friends of Boston Manor are pleased to announce the opening of the Pavilion Cafe in Boston Manor Park. The Cafe is open at weekends throughout the year (with very occasional exceptions)
from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The cafe is run on a voluntary basis and we are always looking for more volunteers to share the burden of work, although burden is probably an inappropriate word to use
as being in the cafe is a great way of socialising and getting to know the local community.
The Pavilion Cafe can be used for community functions and events or can be hired for private functions. If you would like to hire the cafe, please download a booking
form here or contact us for more information by emailing us
here, or replying on our Reply Form.
We are pleased to announce that Boston Manor Park has, yet again, won the Green Flag Award in 2010, for an amazing sixth consecutive year. The Green Flag is awarded for attaining high standards within the park.
Congratulations and thanks to all those who have worked so hard for this achievement. Please click the picture for a full explanation of the Award. Or here
for the Green Flag Award description of the park.
