1 The name of the Association shall be THE FRIENDS OF BOSTON MANOR.
2 The objectives of the Association shall be to protect the common interests of the park and house and to encourage local participation in the preservation, management and development of Boston Manor Park and House and to arrange practical tasks and events for fund raising toward the above.
3 The Association shall be non-Party and non-Sectarian.
4 The qualifications for membership of the Association shall be:-
(a) Open to all interested people in the community and
(b) By the payment of an annual subscription that shall become due on 1st January each year
5 The business of the Association shall be conducted by an Executive Committee consisting of the Chair, Vice Chair, Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Secretary and a number of members who shall meet as often as the Officers consider necessary. Six members will form a quorum.   All Officers shall be elected at the Annual or an Extraordinary General Meeting. The committee shall have power to co-opt.

Each member of the Committee shall be empowered to accept subscriptions and give an official receipt, such monies to be handed to the Honorary Treasurer through the Membership Secretary at the next Committee Meeting after collection.

A bank account shall be kept in the name FRIENDS OF BOSTON MANOR; cheques shall be signed by two of the four following: the Honorary Treasurer, the Honorary Secretary, the Chair and a nominee from the Committee.
8 The Accounts shall be closed on 31st December for Audit by one member of the Association who is not on the Executive Committee. All payments shall be made by the Honorary Treasurer on the authority of the Executive Committee.
9 The Annual General Meeting shall be held in April in each year, of which seven days notice must be given.

An Extraordinary General Meeting may be called at any time, either by the Executive Committee or by a requisition signed by at least six members who shall state the purpose of the request.

No alteration and/or addition to the Rules may be made except at the Annual General Meeting or at a General Meeting specifically convened for that purpose.

Notice of Motion must be received by the Honorary Secretary at least ten days before the General Meeting.
